Franz has been the Chief Physician and Director at the Lung Clinic Hemer, Pneumology since July 2008. Previously Franz was Chief Consultant at Asklepios Fachkliniken Munich-Gauting, from April 2001 and Consultant at Zentralkrankenhaus Gauting, Pneumology since 1991. Franz studied Medicine in Ulm, Innsbruck and obtained his medical licence in 1984. He is the Secretary of the German Society of Pneumology, Section of Endoscopy, 2005-2015.
