Heinz Redl

Professor Dr. Heinz Redl is Director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Clinical and Experimental Traumatology. Since 1998 he has been founder and CEO of Trauma Care Consult and coordinator at the Austrian Cluster for Tissue Regeneration.
He has 15 patents and over 500 PubMed publications. He is editor for several books and editor in chief of the Spring Reference Series “Tissue Engineering and Regeneration”.
He assists in the organisation of international conferences such as International Federation of Shock Societies, European Shock Society, Vienna Shock Forum, Wiggers-Bernard Conferences and World Congress TERMIS 2012.
His main research interests are diagnostic and therapeutic measures in trauma care, and musculoskeletal tissue regeneration and its translational approach.
