Craig Miller is the Thelma and Henry Doelger Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a past president of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery and the Western Thoracic Surgical Association, and the former chairman of the American Heart Association’s Cardiovascular Surgery Council. Craig is responsible for major advances in the understanding and treatment of mitral and aortic valve disease, thoracic aortic diseases, heart physiology, and cardiac mechanics.
