David L. Brown is the founder of The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano where he is an Interventional Cardiologist having performed over 12,000 interventions with participation in multiple national and international clinical research trials. Graduated from West Point, New York, he completed Airborne and Ranger School and a tour in the 82nd Airborne Division. He then completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC and his fellowship at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. David has served as principal investigator in multiple clinical trials including coronary, peripheral, and percutaneous aortic and mitral valve trials. His clinical interests are transcather mitral valve interventions, transcather aortic valve replacement, structural heart disease, hybrid coronary revascularization, mitral valve (MitraClip), valvular heart disease, interventions, high risk percutaneous coronary intervention and balloon aortic valvuloplasty.
