The 3rd EACTS Aortic Forum will take place 18-20 June 2025 in the beautiful city of Prague, bringing together the most important and influential voices in the field of aortic surgery for three days of education, discussion and networking.
This course offers a full day of Robotic MIDCAB exposure and a day of presentations and hands-on sessions in a simulation environment. This will be the best preparation for one-on-one training and proctoring to start up a programme at your own centre.
The course is designed to provide the cardiothoracic surgeon in training with didactic teaching and hands on cadaveric surgical training experience under the guidance of a faculty of experienced surgeons. Candidates will also implant left ventricular assist devices, practice cannulation for ECMO and gain practical experience of ex vivo lung perfusion.

The purpose of this course is to teach practical techniques and skills that are necessary to meet the stringent criteria for applications and to obtain funding for grants. The course will focus on grant writing, statistics and effective communication.
